Privacy Policy
In accordance with the BACP Ethical Framework policies, I keep brief hand written records of our sessions, stored in a secure place.
When our work is ended, I will keep these notes for a number of years after which they may be destroyed.
In accordance with the GDPR (General Data Privacy Regulation) Act from the 25th May 2018, I am required to use personal information fairly, lawfully and transparently.
I keep minimal data on my computer and other electronic devices e.g. your name and contact details. I don’t share this with any third party.
My counselling executor knows how and where to access these details and would do so to inform you in a circumstance which prevented me from practising and contacting you myself.
As this new legislation is a work in progress in its practical application, I may amend or update this privacy policy from time to time.
